The daffodils and bluebells are certainly putting on a show this spring! Performing next will be the Redbuds and Crabapple trees. We spotted a Blue Heron rookery just up the creek.

It seems like the fall colors are later this year, but they're gorgeous!

Our road has been restored. Sightings of rarely seen birds this week include a Pileated Woodpecker and Northern Flickers.

We've never seen the water this high in the 12 years we've been here! The county road has washed out, so we need to take a different route to State Road 47.

We've discovered a new pizza favorite in Thorntown, which is 5 miles away. Bud's Pizza is open Wednesday - Saturday. They have a small dine-in area or you can carry out.
